Sustainable fishing in accordance the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)
Certification of Enterprises by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) standard make sure that the way to take the fish and fish products by an operation can be traced without interruption. The MSC logo may be used only on fish products derived from MSC-certified fisheries. All stakeholders in the supply chain required to undergo an MSC certification. Each member of the supply chain, including processors and restaurants must be able to prove this independent audit to use the MSC logo. In retailing the handling of open, non-packaged goods MSC (at the service counters) is checked.
